Panel 1: Nat's dad: "You can forget that, living under that dome. But Antarca exists to keep this old world safe and secure. That was Doc Sonder's whole plan." The big Earth flag looms over him on the wall behind.
Panel 2: Nat's dad: "You ever bin to Africa, Martian Girl?" Maida: "This is my first time anywhere outside of Antarca."
Panel 3: Nat's dad: "Oh, you have to go to Africa. It's beautiful. It's real."
Panel 4: Nat's dad: "In all the universe, there's only one place where 'umans and the environment match perfectly. That's Africa. Everywhere else is just somewhere we moved to, innit?"
Panel 5: Nat's dad, turning to Nat: "That's somefing you can look forward to, Natalie-- getting stationed outside the dome!"
Panel 6: Nat looks completely unimpressed. Nat's dad: "The best years of my life were the rotations I did in Zimbabwe and Kivu." Nat: "Daaad!"
Panel 7: Nat puts her head in her hands but her dad and Maida are still both fully engaged. Nat's dad: "The fresh air will do you good. It'll make you hard. You know'amean, right Maida?" Maida: "Yessir. I love fresh air."
