Okay, now I want a mechanical bird that shouts “SILENCE!” in a radio-actor voice. He doesn’t have to do anything else, just sit on my shoulder and periodically shout “SILENCE!”
For some reason, the angry robot bird in the middle bottom panel reminds me of Tom Siddel’s artwork in Gunnerkrigg Court. I think it’s the declarative expression on it’s face. I think it reminds me of the robots that take themselves way too seriously, crossed with the pigeons in his City Face short comics.
I have to confess I’m years behind on Gunnerkrigg Court, but I was definitely a fan while I was able to keep up with it, so I’m going to take this as a compliment. 😉
The last panel of this comic was what I was reminded of: http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=643
Be warned though, I spent several hours reading the archives to find that. Dangerous stuff Gunnerkrigg Court is…
