Panel 1: Maida sits on her bed typing on a holographic screen, attended by her cartoon shark and visited by the holographic bust of Srinivasa. Srinivasa: "Tahmaseb's angry friend does have somethin of a point when it's comin to religion. It is a tool of our oppression." Maida: "Hmm."
Panel 2: Srinivasa: "It's also a tool a civilisation." Maida: "Oh?"
Panel 3: Srinivasa: "You might say religion started civilisation. We were workin together to build temples to primitive gods before there was farmin or writin. It would be a foolish civilisation that didn't harness that power."
Panel 4: Maida, looking up from her screen: "You don't think the Earth government is actually religious though, do you?"
Panel 5: Srinivasa, wearing a wry smile: "The shidafu? God, no. That's my t'esis. To the shidafu, religion is merely a tool."
Panel 6: Srinivasa: "You're not wantin actual religious people in charge, are you?" Maida closes her screen. Maida: "I guess I think that's not what matters?"
Panel 7: Maida: "No matter what someone bases their power on, if they use it to hurt people, that's wrong."
